Conventional Spinning
Spinning Plant and Fiber Line
The conventional two-stage process comprising a spinning plant and a separate fiber processing line enables high spinning speeds.

The process allows economical production of high quality fibers, especially for bi-component fibers, for low titers, for high tenacity low-shrinkage fibers, and for high production rates.

Complete Small and Medium-size Spinning Plants with Zimmer Technology
For small and medium throughputs, up to 12 spinning positions and for PET, Fleissner provides two-stage plants under Zimmer license. The spinning plant includes the Zimmer Ring Spinning System BN 100. This system is already being used in more than 1,000 positions and offers many advantages:

Throughputs of up to 5,000 g/min per spinning position

Central melt feed into spin packs with optimum distribution of product and heat

Loading of spin packs from below

Very short change periods by easy handling of spinning packs with patented bayonet fitting

Closed quench air concept from outside to inside for energy effective operation

Excellent qualities of fiber tow, very low CV values for titer and elongation

Complete Large Spinning Plant
Fleissner supplies complete installations for large spinning plants, typically following a melt preparation by polymerisation or polycondensation, with state-of-the-art technology provided by selected engineering partners. All spinning plants are based upon the Fleissner machinery which has proven its cost efficiency and reliability in many spinning installations worldwide:

Spinning walls with suction/cutting blocks and entangling jets for reduced down times and little waste

Central melt feed into spin packs with optimum distribution of product and heat

Capstan units for fiber draw-off

Sunflower reel plaiters

Can traversing systems and cutting devices ensuring minimized waste by precise setting of cable lengths in cans

Spin finish systems and auxiliary equipment

Drive and control systems
