For the subsequent carbonization process Fleissner offers full-process Fiber-Logistics which consist of a sophisticated fibre conveying system with tension stands and deflection rollers as well as surface treatment and sizing bathes with corresponding can and contactless dryers as well as an overall
process control system. Since high qualities and efficiencies depend much on defined tensions at each point of the line, this conveying system plays a key role in the process beside the oxidation and carbonization technology. The actual trends to lower tow sizes will even increase the requirements.
The capacities range from pilot scale up to more than 3,000 t/a of heavy tows on industrial lines up to 4 m width. Complete carbon fibre lines can be supplied in alliance with Eisenmann and Ruhstrat, renowned producers of oxidation and carbonization ovens. Here also our product range can be complemented by additional equipment.
